Job Summary
We are seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Mary Jane Brown long term care center. As a CNA, you will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse, ensuring the well-being and dignity of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, promoting independence and comfort for our residents.
- Support residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as necessary, fostering a positive dining experience.
- Aid healthcare providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if required, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary, enabling data-driven decision making.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement, emphasizing our commitment to excellence in care.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred, but not mandatory, as we prioritize ongoing training and development.
