Responsibilities:
As a Nursing Assistant Trainee, you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse and assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, undressing, obtaining vital signs, providing psychosocial support, and delivering other personal care as assigned. You will also assist with basic health care needs and activities of daily living, such as transferring, repositioning, range of motion exercises, and walking using appropriate transfer techniques and equipment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have a high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is also preferred. You must be medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of this position, if required by the facility.
