Job Summary
As a Regional Clinical Services Director, you will provide clinical leadership, consultation, and access to clinical resources for direct patient/resident care departments within each network facility. You will be responsible for multiple states and must manage to multiple, distinct and differing regulatory requirements in all aspects of Long Term and Post-Acute Care.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership, consultation, and access to clinical resources for direct patient/resident care departments within each network facility.
- Manage multiple states and ensure compliance with multiple, distinct and differing regulatory requirements in all aspects of Long Term and Post-Acute Care.
- Lead and coordinate the implementation of strategic nursing plan initiatives across the rural or field locations.
- Mentor and orient new nursing leaders to their roles; advise, counsel, and link them to internal and external resources.
- Participate in creation and revisions for policies, procedures, and standards that describe and guide how the staff provides the appropriate clinical care.
Qualifications
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care related field preferred.
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
- Demonstrated progressive nursing leadership experience; 5 years experience in a long term or post-acute care setting as a Director of Nursing required.
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
