Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at GSS MN Luverne. As a CNA, you will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents
- Assist residents with basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational
- Encourage residents to participate in wellness and recreational programs
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
