Job Summary
A compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is sought to join our team at GSS MN Brainerd Bethany, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality care and service to seniors in a Christian environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
- Provide, monitor, and record therapy services to patients/residents/clients with physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial impairments.
- Select, implement, and modify therapeutic activities and interventions consistent with demonstrated competency levels, patient's/resident's/client's goals, and practice setting requirements.
Requirements
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
- Certified as an Occupational Therapy Assistant through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), preferred for Sanford Health Facilities.
