We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Jackson, MN. As a member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing light maintenance repairs and cleaning tasks in a safe and professional manner.
- Must possess basic mechanical knowledge and show competence in the use of hand tools, meters, measuring devices, and gauges.
- Ability to work all shifts and hours as scheduled.
- Must comply with all corporate and facility policies and dress code.
**Job Responsibilities**
Your duties may include:
- Performing installation and maintenance of mechanical and stationary systems, including boiler operations, to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Maintaining campus grounds and performing other outside maintenance duties.
- General duties such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and bed repair and maintenance.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of two years' experience in building systems preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using hand tools, meters, measuring devices, and gauges.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
