Job Description:
A part-time position is available in our Physical Therapy department. The successful candidate will plan, organize, and deliver physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities.
- Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease
- Administer physical therapy interventions following established safeguards
- Document client information for evaluation and treatment plans
- Educate clients and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises to continue at home
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of age-related treatments and evaluations, as well as current research in physical therapy. They will also be able to demonstrate documentation skills in accordance with departmental guidelines and meet all regulatory requirements.
This role may involve supervising assistants, aides, and students, as well as providing ongoing education and training to peers in the area(s) of expertise.
Requirements:
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for health care providers
