About the Role
- Provide daily living assistance, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and vital signs
- Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques
- Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, ensuring a positive experience for residents
- Aid providers and nursing staff with procedures as needed
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Communicate changes in resident condition and care concerns/responses to the charge nurse
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing
