Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess residents' physical and psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent required
- Current LPN licensure in North Dakota
- At least 1 year of experience as a LPN in a long term care setting
