Job Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for providing direct patient care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings, working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting assessments to evaluate the physical and psychosocial needs of residents
* Administering medications and treatments as ordered
* Documenting resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
* Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
* Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
* Unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
* Completion of required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility
