Job Description
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care. The LPN will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and competency in performing tasks related to resident care.
The LPN will ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents by contributing to their assessment and administering medications or treatments as ordered. They will also provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed and document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.
The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. They will also be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, healthcare providers, and the public.
Responsibilities
