Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a LPN, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, treatments, and documenting resident interactions
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans
- Develop self-care programs for residents using knowledge of resident education principles
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Associate degree in practical nursing preferred
- Current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or multi-state licensure privileges
- Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements
