Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Provide psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
- Assist with food preparation and dining, creating a positive dining experience for residents.
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
