Job Summary
This Nursing Assistant position serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. You will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, and grooming.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs.
- Participate in departmental committees and task forces as needed.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
