Job Summary
As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will serve as caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods in long-term care facilities. You will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support and other personal care to assigned residents.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed.
- Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.

Work Environment:
This is a 12-hour night shift role at our Canton facility, working Tuesday - Thursday from 6pm to 6:30am. No weekends, every other holiday, with extra night differential pay.
Estimated Salary:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience. Annual salary range: $41,600 - $58,240.
