Job Responsibilities:
The Nursing Assistant will serve as a caregiver to residents during their scheduled work period, providing daily living assistance and personal care services under the supervision of a registered nurse. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and other daily living activities
- Providing vital sign measurements and documenting resident interactions and outcomes
- Aiding providers and nursing staff members with procedures as needed
- Collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathering vital signs
- Providing housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- A minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
