Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our residents. As a Nursing Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and obtaining and recording vital signs.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate.
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs.
- Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Minimum age of 16.
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position.
