Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at GSS MN Pine River. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
- Administer medications or treatments as ordered by a licensed practitioner
- Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program
- An active unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
- Experience working in long-term care settings
- Ability to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team
