About the Role
This part-time LPN position is responsible for providing professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care to residents based on their unique needs and preferences
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by a registered nurse or physician
- Contribute to the assessment of residents and develop effective care plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and service delivery
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- An Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred
- Current unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
