Job Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in providing individualized care to residents. This position requires the application of the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care plans. Collaboration with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals is essential in ensuring seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care Planning and Implementation: Develop and maintain care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident, utilizing the nursing process to guide decision-making.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care and open communication.
- Assessment and Documentation: Conduct thorough assessments, documenting accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and treatment.
Requirements:
- A nationally accredited nursing program or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- An unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing occurs is required.
