Nursing Assistant Role
">We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at GSS MN Luverne. ">Responsibilities
">As a CNA, your primary responsibilities will include:
">- Providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). ">
- Assisting residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as appropriate. ">
- Collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathering vital signs. ">
- Providing housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational. ">
Requirements
">To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
">- A high school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. ">
- A minimum age of 16. ">
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred. ">
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. ">
- A minimum of 12 hours continuing education credits required annually. ">
