As a Nursing Assistant at the Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to seniors in a supportive Christian environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
Assisting residents with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
Assisting residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements as appropriate.
Collecting non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathering vital signs.
Providing housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational.
Providing assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encouraging residents to participate.
You must have:
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
Minimum age of 16.
Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
