Job Description
The LPN provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.
The incumbent must demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles, competency, and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
- Documenting resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
- Counseling residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans
The LPN must possess the ability to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.
