Job Summary
This role involves providing nursing care to residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
Responsibilities include coordinating care, conducting resident assessments, educating residents, and performing various other nursing interventions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving as a charge nurse and delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel.
- Providing assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns.
- Functioning within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure.
Requirements
Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred.
An active RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring is required.
