Responsibilities
- Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, toileting, and grooming
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as dressing/undressing and feeding
- Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
- Minimum age of 16
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred
