We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care delivery.

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including occasional IV infusions and injections.
- Provide tube feeding support and perform gastric lavage when necessary.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as QuickMAR.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Train and mentor nursing staff on best practices in patient care, particularly for those with developmental disabilities.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations, providing emergency medicine as required.
Skills
- Proficient in tube feeding techniques and caring for patients with diverse needs, including senior care and rehabilitation.
- Experience administering injections and performing IV infusions is essential.
- Knowledge of gastric lavage procedures is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly QuickMAR, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and provide clear instructions to nursing staff.
- Ability to work compassionately with individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care or special needs.
- Experience in emergency medicine is beneficial for managing critical situations effectively.
