Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Wichita, Ks!Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and ability to translate dataand research into actionable marketing plans that inform branding and campaign development in theWichita Region. Has the ability to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional team members to ensure informative insights are gathered and initiated. The role requires promoting public professional awareness of Hospice with expectation to grow and to expand in digital experience with all social media. This position requires travel and community involvement with events.
Responsibilities
- Create compelling, high-quality written and visual content for various social media platforms.
- Assist Executive Director in the development and execution of campaigns, including content creation, new-product launches, social media, upselling, cross-selling, and sales enablement.
- Manage and maintain our social media accounts, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Use social media analytics tools to track key performance metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and insights to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
- Adjust content and strategies based on data-driven insights to optimize engagement and reach.
- Foster and grow our online community by actively engaging with followers and participating in relevant conversations.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure social media content is aligned with broader marketing initiatives and messaging.
- Work closely with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to create visually appealing content.
- Assist and participate in execution of marketing plans to reach audiences through targeted channels.
- Assist and participate in marketing event planning and initiation.
- Promote Good Shepherd Hospice in the community.

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Healthcare experience preferred.Experience in leading and planning marketing initiatives.Proven experience in social media management and content creation, with a portfolio of successful campaigns.Proficiency in social media platforms and social media management tools.Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms.Creative thinking and the ability to generate fresh content ideas.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies accordingly.Knowledge of the Wichita region and its demographics is a plus.
