Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Educate students.
- Promote the love of Jesus Christ.
- Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that promotes child welfare.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to support student development.
- Maintain classroom discipline while fostering a positive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and methodologies.
- Maintain a clean and happy classroom.
Requirements
- 45 DCF Training Hours
- CDA
- New VPK Standard Training Classes in DCF portal
- A love for Jesus Christ.
- Take the new members class at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of literacy education practices and classroom management techniques.
- Ability to create effective lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Familiarity with child welfare policies and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for educating children and helping them reach their full potential.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.12 - $18.78 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 33 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- After school
- No weekends
