JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for accounting activities, including analyzing accounting transactions and issues, preparing journal entries, maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger, and preparing and analyzing financial reports. More specifically, this role will focus on balance sheet analysis and support preparing a monthly audit-ready package for both GSRN.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
-
Prepares complex accounting analyzes, account reconciliations, and journal entries to maintain the accuracy of balance sheet accounts. Accounts may include: cash, prepaids, non-patient accounts receivable, inventory, fixed assets, accrued expenses and reserves.

Prepares and analyzes financial statements and other internal/external financials for use by internal operating management, board of directors and external parties.

Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or solve more complex problems, taking a new perspective on existing solutions. This focus would be on accounting processes, systems and controls.

Perform analysis to assist in the preparation of monthly results and comparisons with budget.

Own sections of the balance sheet.

Assist with quarterly and year-end reporting.

Assist in the improvement of internal controls.

Maintains a team mindset and effort. Works collaboratively with the finance team and organizational leaders.

Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
