Duties
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the fabrication department, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Oversee the welding processes, ensuring that all welds meet required specifications.
- Coordinate the assembly of components and structures, utilizing various fabrication techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts according to design specifications.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Conduct regular inspections of fabricated products to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in fabrication, welding techniques, and equipment operation.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize fabrication processes and improve product quality.
Skills
