We are seeking a Summer Intern for the Finance department to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with finance professionals to support financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting efforts that align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and excel in project management.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Accounts Receivable (AR) team by investigating and resolving Walmart fines and shortages
- Lead Direct Store Delivery (DSD) financial reviews and assist in monitoring performance against budget
- Analyze demand variances and contribute insights to improve forecasting accuracy
- Help review and release customer orders that are placed on hold
- Process check requests and ensure timely and accurate documentation
- Assist in organizing and maintaining internal control documentation for audit readiness
- Audit and validate financial reports in Planful for the good2grow Bottling business
- Create charts, dashboards, and reports using Planful to support financial analysis
- Collaborate on integrating Planful reporting into monthly financial presentation decks
- Organize and maintain a log of all DSD pricing exceptions for review and analysis
- Work with the Business Insights & Analytics (BIA) team to analyze promotional P&L performance
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and models to support the 2026 budget planning process
- Perform additional financial and analytical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Planful or similar financial software is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
- Prior internship or coursework in financial analysis, reporting, or budgeting is a plus
