What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Apartment Manager - Market position at Goodale & Barbieri Company?
Assist Apartment Manager in managing all aspects of multiple market rate properties located in the Spokane area. Assist in collecting rent, problem solve, uphold lease, community policies, and house rules.
- Assist in managing assigned property; problem solving, respond to emergency calls 24/7, collect rent, deliver notices, maintain signs
- Assist in processing applications
- Assist in the updating of applications
- Assist in enforcing Lease, House Rules, & Community Policies
- Assist in bank deposits
- Assist with scheduling outside vendors, HVAC, plumbing, roofs, landscaping, floor covering, electrical, appliances, gates, etc
- Assist with updating monthly maintenance log of any repairs conducted through property
- Assist when necessary of changing light bulbs, cleaning of common areas
- Post notices when necessary
- Police grounds, parking lot, parking area in front and dumpster areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Excellent written and verbal skills and able to compose business correspondence and interoffice correspondence
Self-motivated, organized and able to deal with problems, personally or by delegation
Ability to deal professionally, courteously and tactfully with the public and co-workers
Ability to communicate and develop an effective working relationship with fellow associates, managers, outside representatives and agencies
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with co-workers and others
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES REQUIRED:
Must have a valid Driver’s License (to drive to properties, suppliers, bank, and corporate office)
Two year degree in business administration and/or CPM designation preferred. High School diploma required
40 Hours per Week
Background check, drug test, good driving record required.
