Goodhue Boat Company is growing rapidly, and we're looking for smart, motivated, and dedicated individuals to join our team! Our Ossipee Lake marina is currently hiring for a PT/Seasonal Yard Hand. As a Yard Hand, you will be an essential part of a team that ensures the marina runs smoothly.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Transport trailered boats using pick-up trucks to other locations.
- Move boats using tractors such as John Deere, Kubota and Kioti
- Assist in launching and racking boats.
- Inspect heavy equipment for damages.
- Follow OSHA and company guidelines.
- Report all equipment damages, accidents, and problems to the Marina Manager.
- Assist in winterizing of boats.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience using tractors.
- Valid Driver’s license, a must.
- Clean driving record, a must.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions..
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work as part of a team, a must.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED.
Salary:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
