What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Yard Hand position at Goodhue Ossipee, LLC?
Goodhue Boat Company is super busy and we are looking for smart, motivated, and dedicated people to join the team! Our Ossipee Lake marina location has an opening for a PT/Seasonal Yard Hand. As a yard hand, you will be part of a team the plays a critical role in the smooth running of the marina.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Transport trailered boats using pick-up trucks to other locations.
· Move boats using tractors such as John Deere, Kubota and Kioti
· Assist in launching and racking boats.
· Inspect heavy equipment for damages.
· Follow OSHA and company guidelines.
· Report all equipment damages, accidents, and problems to the Marina Manager.
· Assist in winterization of boats.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience using tractors.
· Valid Driver’s license, a must.
· Clean driving record, a must.
· Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to work in various weather conditions..
· Excellent communication skills.
· Willingness to work as part of a team, a must.
Education:
· High School Diploma or GED.
Salary:
$17.00-19.00 per hour
Schedule:
· Monday-Friday, weekends. (5 days per week)
