Director of Regional IDD Services
Full-Time, Salary $75,000 - $80,000
GoodLife Innovations provides lifespan services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in individualized-living group homes and shared-living settings across Kansas. We are seeking a Director of Regional Services to lead and oversee residential operations in our Intensive Support Homes (ISH) and shared-living Professional Family Teaching (PFT) program in Douglas County.

As the Director of Regional Services, you will promote the smooth operation of residential programs by training, supporting, and evaluating managers, who in turn provide high-quality services to those we serve. This leadership role ensures quality service delivery, effective team management, and adherence to clinical practices for individuals with IDD. An ideal candidate has experience working with individuals with high behavior support needs and a passion for supporting and mentoring others.
Some duties include:
- Hiring, training, supervising, and supporting residential managers
- Supporting residential managers with administrative and management duties
- Facilitating payroll and census/billing for assigned programs
- Overseeing compliance with company policies, state/federal licensing standards, and communicating with support/licensing entities (e.g., KDADS, DCF, CDDOs, MCOs)
- Preparing for HCBS and Final Rule licensing reviews, including documentation reviews, staff interviews and observations, and on-site quality checks
- Promoting the growth of the agency’s shared-living PFT program
- Fulfilling residential management duties in cases of manager vacancies
- Participating in weekend on-call rotation
Some qualifications:
- Supervisory experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field, required; Masters degree or higher preferred
- Three to five years of prior experience of a similar scope
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through verbal and written mediums
- Ability to perform behavior management and physical support techniques
- Must have valid Driver's License and safe driving record
- Working on site with flexibility in hours and ability to participate in weekend on-call rotation
