Job Title: Director of Operations
Reports To: GRG President
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Operations to lead and oversee the daily, short-term, and long-term operations of our Commercial Property Management and Services company. The Director of Operations will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring seamless execution of strategic goals, and enhancing client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, business administration, strategic planning, and leadership. This individual must possess exceptional problem-solving skills, financial acumen, and a proven ability to build, adapt and lead high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring effective management and alignment with goals.
- Develop and implement operational strategies and best practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
- Collaborate with the President, Executive team, and managers to identify new business opportunities and ensure customer retention.
Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with the President to design and implement the strategic goals and initiatives.
- Translate high-level strategies into actionable plans across departments.
- Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities while mitigating risks.
- Foster innovation and spearhead initiatives to maintain the organization's competitive edge.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to continuously improve performance.
Team Leadership and Culture
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Work with the VP of Accounting to oversee budgets, financial forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Identify areas for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 8 years of experience in senior operations management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Industry-specific expertise (e.g., [real estate, manufacturing, technology]) is a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years in operations management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in commercial property management or a related industry.
- Strong background in sales and business development.
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, business administraton, Finance, Marketing, etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Experience in fundraising will be a plus.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills.
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
