What are the responsibilities and job description for the Event Coordinator Specialist position at Goodstone Inn & Restaurant?
The Goodstone Inn & Restaurant is a premier venue for weddings, social events, and corporate functions. As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of these events.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating proposals and estimates for clients
- Responding to client inquiries and collecting deposits
- Thoroughly knowing the property and package offerings for Goodstone Weddings, Social, and Corporate Events
- Conducting research and studies of the local marketplace to effectively capitalize on our venue's strengths and competitors' weaknesses
- Following defined event processes and being self-motivated to follow and report on those processes
You will also be responsible for providing support day of events to ensure the success of each event, creating Event Orders for events, and assisting with rental orders. Additionally, you will coordinate with the event host on all aspects of the banquet function, oversee all aspects of assigned banquet function activities, and plan the event course and orchestrate its completion promptly, quietly, and courteously.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not required, and previous experience with HubSpot, Maestro, and Triple Seat is a plus. You must be able to define and follow standard event processes, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and have basic knowledge of Audio-Visual components.
