We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Buyer to join our procurement team in a high-speed pizza manufacturing facility. Responsibilities
- Assist in the procurement of materials and supplies necessary for bakery type production and operations.
- Assist with negotiating supplier contracts, terms, and pricing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Support production planning by forecasting material needs based on project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, warehouse, and production to create efficient and timely delivery of materials.

Experience
- A background in material purchasing, procurement, or related fields is preferred.

- Experience using Excel, Fish Bowl, and ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
