What You’ll Do:
- Greet customers with a smile and positive attitude.
- Ring items up using a cash register quickly and accurately.
- When you’re not at the register, you’ll help restock racks and shelves with new items.
- Rotate stock, tidy up, and keep the store looking its best.
- Work in a fast-paced, high-energy, and busy environment!
Education, Experience, and Skills that are a must:
- At least 6 months of previous cashier / customer service experience.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees.
- Ability to count money accurately.
- Minimum of tenth-grade education is required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to work 100% of scheduled hours onsite.
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude and adhere to GICNC’s dress code.
- Must be able to communicate well, both orally and in writing.
- Light to medium lifting (up to 25lbs) is required. Stooping, bending, pulling, pushing, standing, reaching, handling, speaking, hearing, carrying, walking, lifting, occasional climbing, good eyesight, and color vision.
Pay Range & Schedule: This position is hourly, non-exempt and starts at $13 / hour plus quarterly performance-based bonuses.
- Must be able to adhere to our attendance policy. We’re a retail environment with retail hours, which can include nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Most of our stores are open Monday – Saturday 10AM - 8PM and Sunday 1PM – 6PM, so no late-night shifts!
- Part-time positions are up to 28 hours per week (can include weekends and evenings).
- Full-time positions are based on a 40-hour work week and open availability is required (includes weekends and evenings).
