Goodwill is looking for a dynamic and self-motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as an assistant clinical instructor in our growing Certified Nurse Aide Training Program. Our training program focuses on increasing access for underserved populations and closing the education and achievement gap in our community. We remove barriers to training and employment so that individuals who may not be able to enroll in other programs, can not only enroll in ours but succeed.
The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 – 30.00
The schedule for this job is as needed from 7:00am -3:00pm Monday - Friday, depending on clinical schedule.
We are seeking an LPN with a minimum of 1 year of experience, preferably working in a long-term care setting. The primary responsibilities of this role are:
- Assist a registered nurse in teaching 56 skills to CNA students in a lab setting, and lead students through the required clinical practicum.
- Supervising them in both the lab and clinical settings, providing feedback on their performance and areas for improvement, and supporting them on their journey to becoming a CNA.
- Provide respectful Person-Centered Planning services, accurately track and manage data, maintain attendance records, utilize interactive teaching methods, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines for CNA training.

• State of Michigan Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• 1 year of experience working as an LPN
• Experience supervising CNAs and/or working in a long term care setting, preferred.
