What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Specialist position at Goodwill Industries Of Greater Nebraska?

- Set up and manage production workflow.
- Ensure timely and quality completion of production work including meeting the goals and quotas stated.
- Coordinate the amount of work to be completed daily.
- Process and prepare donated goods as assigned for shipment and storage.
- Meet daily goals keeping quality appropriate.
- Assist maintaining daily records of warehouse inventory.
- Must have experience using power lift equipment, including forklift. Will be Goodwill certified within 30 days.
- Perform work activities in conformance to Goodwill Values Statement which includes the values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Stewardship, Learning, Teamwork and Entrepreneurial Spirit.
- Immediately report any wrongdoing, unethical or improper conduct, fraud, fiscal mismanagement or misappropriation of funds, etc. (Refer to the Corporate Compliance Program Policy and Procedure for instructions on how to report.)

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- Intermediate level of reading and writing, keyboarding, math and computer skills and ability to pay attention to detail.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Skill in communicating in spoken conversation - adequate volume speech.
- Visual acuity, depth perception, field of vision within normal range and accurate color vision. Ability to perceive size, discrimination, temperature, shapes, and/or textures.
- Normal hearing required for conversation, telephone use, and emergency information systems.
- Be able to move safely about work area and be ambulatory on all surfaces and situations.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs., frequently lifting 50 pounds. Push, pull up to 800 lbs. an average of 6 times per day with a pallet jack or power jack.
- Bilateral use of hands for repetitive single grasp and release tasks and fine manipulation.
- Ability to stand at least 4 hours per day and physical stamina to work up to 8 hours per day.
- Have full active range of motion of all extremities, ability to reach above and below shoulders, ability to bend/squat, twist, kneel at least 15 times per hour.
- Ability to tolerate heat and humidity up to 91 degrees.
