Position Summary:
Provide administrative and coordinator support to the programs and systems of the Learning and Development Department. Duties include database administration and maintenance of Goodwill Houston’s Learning Management System, email reporting to all respective departments, and providing data validation/analytics to support all Learning and Development training programs. The role must be able to assist inquiries of all Learning and development systems/registration processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Analytics:
- Exercise independent responsibility and judgment in auditing data in the different data systems to identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate data, and bring it to the attention of program staff.
- Analyze data to identify or resolve operational problems.
- Generate and effectively communicate daily, weekly and monthly reports as needed to provide leaders with tools and resources to mitigate risk and make informed decisions.
- Maintain data quality and data integrity in all data systems.
- Design and run database forms and reports as directed by the Learning and Development Manager
- Provide end-user support and data management training for the People Operations and Donated Goods Retail Division as needed.
- Assess database systems before and after upgrades.
- Other duties as assigned by the Learning and Development Manager
LMS & Reporting
- Oversees the Learning Management Systems (LMS), authoring software, and other related L&D software. Assures database design, maintenance, entry, and customer support.
- Performs an ongoing review of existing software programs and initiates the development of new programs, as needed.
- Develops and maintains training plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery and completion.
- Establishes, tracks, and evaluates learning metrics to assure effectiveness.
Ensures accurate and timely reporting of outcomes are delivered to the Supervisor, funders, and key stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of Associate Degree in Database Administration or related field. Bachelors’ Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum one year of relevant experience in data management and validation.
