- Assists in direction of work to meet pickup and delivery schedules
- Assumes dock area responsibilities in the absence of supervisor
- Assists in training and evaluation of dock personnel, including consumers assigned for assessment
- Responsible for housekeeping of dock area, truck wells, and removal of trash
- Monitors trash compactor
- Monitors metal salvage
- Adhere to all policies and procedures, maintaining a good attendance record
- High school diploma/GED required
- Driver license preferred
- Logistics experience is preferred; management experience required
- Knowledge and experience with unions preferred
- Computer competencies, including MS Word and Excel and a strong emphasis on safety are required
- Show initiative, good judgment, dependability
