Position Title: Merchandise Pricer
Location: Bonham, TX
Reports To: Store Manager
Job Classification: Full-Time (Hourly) **note - we do not offer part-time positions**
Summary: Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas seeks a detail-oriented Merchandise Pricer to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our donations meet quality standards for our customers, supporting Goodwill's mission through thoughtful selection and pricing of donations. You'll contribute to creating a welcoming shopping experience while upholding our organization's core values of service, stewardship, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to ensure 100% donor and customer satisfaction.
- Price merchandise following a baseline price guide, with special pricing for items of unique or exceptional value.
- Maintain a clean and organized pricing area and transport merchandise to various facility locations (sales floor, stockroom, etc.).
- Stock, display, and rotate merchandise on shelves and perform markdowns according to agency policies.
- Follow all Goodwill policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
- Achieve production goals consistently to support timely inventory processing.
- Attend training sessions and stay up-to-date on merchandise knowledge, industry trends, and pricing standards.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Basic math skills are essential.
- Knowledge of the following is preferred: accessories, antiques, wares, large hard goods, shoes, electronics, and furniture.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliable transportation and manual dexterity are required.
- Ability to perform job duties that require prolong standing, physical exertion, and occasionally lifting up to 40 lbs.

Physical Demands: While performing this job, you will be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach frequently. You must occasionally lift and move items up to 40 lbs.
