Job Summary:
The District Manager, Retail Stores & Donation Centers is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple retail stores and donation centers within a designated district. This role integrates social, environmental, and financial considerations into planning and actions to achieve operational goals.
The District Manager is expected to:
- Ensure efficient and effective operations of assigned stores and donation centers.
- Implement process improvements and standard operating procedures to achieve set goals and business results
- Lead and develop a team of store managers and assist in developing well trained and effective teams that feel supported and valued.
- Manage P&L responsibility and financial planning for the district.
- Deliver results and model Goodwill NNE’s Citizenship Behaviors.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business and 2 years of retail management experience, or 4 years of retail management experience with full P&L responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Strong communication skills and customer satisfaction focus.
- Valid driver’s license and successful background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Multi-unit retail management experience.
- Experience in a donated goods environment.
- Experience in a not-for-profit social enterprise.
- PMP, Lean, or Agile certification.
