Vermont Stores District Manager

Location: Vermont

Job Summary: 
The District Manager, Retail Stores & Donation Centers is responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple retail stores and donation centers within a designated district. This role integrates social, environmental, and financial considerations into planning and actions to achieve operational goals.

The District Manager is expected to:

• Ensure efficient and effective operations of assigned stores and donation centers.
• Implement process improvements and standard operating procedures to achieve set goals and business results
• Lead and develop a team of store managers and assist in developing well trained and effective teams that feel supported and valued.
• Manage P&L responsibility and financial planning for the district.
• Deliver results and model Goodwill NNE’s Citizenship Behaviors.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business and 2 years of retail management experience, or 4 years of retail management experience with full P&L responsibility.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication skills and customer satisfaction focus.
• Valid driver’s license and successful background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Multi-unit retail management experience.
• Experience in a donated goods environment.
• Experience in a not-for-profit social enterprise.
• PMP, Lean, or Agile certification.
