Summary:
To provide CRC program participants with a 90-day paid internship in a structured, professional business environment, ensuring a positive experience for both the intern and the organization.
The duration of the internship assignment may be extended based on business needs and at the discretion of the CEO and/or Director of Workforce Development.

Responsible for managing the Career Center reception desk, telephones, computer bank, and provide top-notch customer service to both internal and external customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
All job functions are to be performed according to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls, direct callers, take messages, and route correspondence appropriately.
- Assist all customers/clients and direct them in the appropriate manner.
- Provide customer service at the computer bank.
- Job shadowing CRC professionals.
- Engage in community networking activities, including but not limited to attending job and resource fairs.
- Establish professional relationships with customers and employees.
- Assign and monitor computer bank and headphone sets as necessary.
- Sort and distribute interoffice correspondence and other mail when requested.
- Keep the copy room stocked with regularly used forms and documents.
- Responsible for keeping the copier filled with paper.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to function as a team member and get along with others.
- Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits and attitude.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Successful completion of:
- CRC Courses: MS Word, MS Excel, and Advanced MS Office
- Secure Google AI Essentials Certification within 60 days of start date
- Achieve a score of 90% or higher on NorthStar MS Word and MS Excel Assessments
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

- Must have adequate computer skills and able to pass NorthStar assessment for Word and Excel.
- Must have good organizational skills.
- Able to communicate messages to the administrative team in a clear and timely manner.
