The Production Associate plays a vital role in maximizing store profitability by efficiently working the process, sorting and pricing donations to provide a fresh and full store. This position helps build skills and change lives in our communities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sorts donations into outbound containers using quality standards for e-commerce, salvage, or trash.
- Determines if items are unit priced or tagged with good/better/best prices using standard guidelines.
- Easily identifies brands and high-interest items to maximize value in-store or through e-commerce.
- Meets 1-touch production goals, processing donations from door to floor within 15 minutes or completing one SL rack per hour.
- Communicates with material handlers to bring products, empty garbage, and swap out salvage containers.
- Greets customers on the sales floor and donors in the donation center promptly.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following established 5S and safety guidelines.
- Works the process, staying in station producing primary donations as assigned, and providing backup when needed.
- Interacts professionally and pleasantly with coworkers, shoppers, and donors.
- Performs all duties within the framework of our Core Values.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Learns safe operation of power equipment (for those over 18).
- Develops good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Physical Working Environment:

- Able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the facility, using a full range of motion to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
