Salary rage: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Maximum Range is provided as an example of the Wage/salary range for each position and its earning capacity given factors such as time in position, longevity with the company, education level, and performance experience. Newly entering employees should expect to enter at the minimum level.
Job Summary:
The Human Resource Assistant assists the Human Resources department with day-to-day administrative duties.
Please note that this position has a 180 day introductory period.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Create new hire folders and maintain personnel files.
• Assists with onboarding activities for new employees.
• File all documentation in an accurate, efficient manner.
• Pull files of terminated employees for storage in secure location.
• Tracks and updates employee-related spreadsheets and other databases.
• Cover lunch breaks for Receptionist and acts as a back-up Receptionist as needed, to include answering phone calls and greeting/assisting all visitors.
• Maintain confidentiality on all matters related to personnel filing, including but not limited to: compensation, discipline and medical.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Two years minimum in the Human Resources field, or comparable experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to speak/read/write proficient English. Bilingual preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Office 365.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of personal/privileged information.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Works well under pressure and with deadlines; ability to multitask.
• Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Honesty, integrity, reliability, punctuality.
• Thorough knowledge about company’s mission and services.
• Uphold compliance with all legal, health, and safety guidelines.
Required Experience:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background. Individuals must have a valid driver’s license, liability insurance, insurability under the agency insurance carrier, dependable vehicle and a clean driving record.
