The Retail eCommerce Assistant Manager will coordinate specified goals and tasks as directed from management and warehousing team for a consistent workflow operation.
Essential Job Functions:
- Adheres to and supports all security/LP protocol regarding entry to eCommerce work area.
- Provides and/or arranges training of new team members.
- Ensures breaks and lunches are taken in accordance with the schedule set.
- Collaborates as a liaison between Management and the hourly team.
- Provides leadership and support for eCommerce staff. Communicates goals and purposes of retail/ eCommerce initiatives to team members.
- Provides great customer service interaction with eCommerce team members as well as external customers.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to team members.
- Ensures accurate count of necessary supplies for completion of shipping and associated responsibilities.
- Coordinate vendor pick-ups when necessary. Provide oversight for shipping by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries in accordance with carrier schedules and distribution of incoming supplies.
Ensures workspace stays clean/organized. - Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
- Must have excellent oral communication skills.
- Must display goal-minded leadership skills with the ability to elevate concerns to Management.
- Displays great organizational skills and ability to ensure tasks are accurate and completed on time.
- Must possess versatility, discretion, and good interpersonal skills with ability to work with a variety of diverse people, providing excellent customer service.
Education/Specialized Knowledge Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED, preferred.
- Must have basic math skills, ability to make change, complete paperwork in a timely manner.
- Displays a great understanding of retail and shipping operations.
Physical and Work Condition Requirements:
- This job may have physical requirements that considered light to medium work. Light to medium work involves sitting for short periods of time; frequent bending, squatting, kneeling, stooping; good
- finger dexterity and feeling; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity, frequently lifting/pushing/pulling 10-20 pounds, and occasionally pushing/pulling 20-50 pounds.
- Must have the ability to perform material handling with few restrictions, works with minimal supervision.
- Must have the ability to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Travel to other locations beyond the assigned work location may occasionally be required.
